For anyone who is interested, my major concerns in writing and editing are accuracy of factual detail and punctiliousness in grammar, syntax, punctuation and spelling. Being conscious that some readers may know English only as a second language, I prefer to write simply but formally, rather than use abbreviated terms and vernacular.
