Mostafa Nabawy was born in 1994 in Cairo and has graduated from the faculty of art education from Cairo University. Nabawy is also a member of the Fine Artists Association.He participated in many group exhibitions such as Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts in 2020, the Youth Salon in its 27th , 28 and 29th round. He also participated in the Dai festival in 2017, the Gezira art Center in the Black and White exhibition in 2014. He has international participations like in Serbia festival and Chelsea international fine art 2016 . In addition, his work was acquired by museums and art collectors locally and internationally.
Mostafa is a multidisciplinary artist, who practices his art through different mediums. His collections vary between photography, drawing and painting. Mostafa’s art direction tackles topics and symbols from folklore and Egyptian culture, with its diversity and richness. Mostafa’s finds that popular culture carries originality and close harmonious relationship with the audience as it originated from their day to day life. It is a form of art that belongs to everyone and its identity is the identity of the collective.
