Serial Killer question
Hi there, I notice you put .[citation needed] tags on here. Wasn't this added by the editor who tried to get the article Murderbellia.ink (or some name similar to this, not sure of the exact name and too lazy to hunt it down. :) ) which was deleted? The article was deleted mostly because it was an advertisement for this editors site. Personally I think the section should be deleted as an advertisement/trivia type of edit. What are your thoughts on this? --CrohnieGalTalk 11:23, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Momoricks, your action to delete my post is unpopular (-840) !!!Dopplegangerr (talk) 10:27, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate your work on the above article. I do have a question, though, as you removed some wikilinks as "unnecessary/irrelevant" that I think add to the texture of the article. How does it hurt to link "abandoned house" to urban decay and to provide a wikilink that leads to an article on investigative procedures? Unitanode 04:14, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Question
Hi, I just want to bring to your attention this question of mine. I respect your opinions on these kinds of questions so I would appreciate your thoughts if and when you have time. Thanks, hope you are well, --CrohnieGalTalk 12:29, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
PD question
I am afraid that's force of habit -- I usually use a script to add PD and it uses the ISO format (YEAR-MO-DA), so I can never resist the temptation to change dates when I see them in another format. – ukexpat (talk) 03:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Notes
Glad to see you finally got that Andrew Kissel question settled. Wildhartlivie (talk) 05:46, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Undesirable WikiProject removals/edits
Thanks for the note. That indeed looks like cause for concern, and if you have notified him and failed to receive satisfactory responses, I think the next step would be something in the dispute resolution process. Let me know if I can be of any help, or if you initiate something. -Pete (talk) 02:51, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I think RfC is usually the best option for someone who has been simply unresponsive. Not so pleasant, but rest assured that you'd be doing the encyclopedia a great service by helping an active editor understand the constraints on his behavior. How about you prepare a nomination and email it to me privately, and I can give you feedback before you post it? Feel free to do that if you find it helpful. -Pete (talk) 03:19, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Ack!
What's going on?? Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:28, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, what is going on? I can understand how this place can get an editor or two to fry you out but maybe with some help it can be improved, whatever it is. --CrohnieGalTalk 11:25, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm waiting for an email, Crohnie. If I can share anything, I will. Wildhartlivie (talk) 17:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Marc Dutroux mugshot.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Marc Dutroux mugshot.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Spartaz Humbug! 18:45, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
YAY!!!
I'm SO glad to see you spurting in and out!! Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:45, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, I notice, all right. I've missed seeing your little username light up my watchlist. My talk page is only empty because I just archived it. I'm okay, I suppose, getting by at any rate. Things are about the same around here, annoying!!! How's you? Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:23, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- So...you're working 2 hours later? Sheesh. I love the night life. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:15, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- I get them mixed up too. So they're cutting into your late day's sleep to drag you in early. Yuck. And I love the night life. Did I say that? Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:40, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- I miss driving. I miss taking long rides through the country late at night and looking at the stars. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:24, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds good, but let's call it Driving Miss Livie. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:46, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'll be ready. A couple hours, you think?? Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds good, but let's call it Driving Miss Livie. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:46, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Thank you...
For the delicious pint. Very welcome and refreshing at the end of a long day! :-) Rossrs (talk) 13:50, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Hey
I'm so glad to see that your spurt is to edit! Wildhartlivie (talk) 23:58, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Do write me. I'm trying to finish up Kate Winslet so I can put in the good article nomination. I'm not really sure what is taking the place of Werdnabot, though. If you find out let me know. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:11, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm one source away from nominating it. I've sat on this article for nearly a year, just waiting. It was close to GA back during the Academy Awards this year, but it seemed like a good idea to wait until the "Kate is great" furor quieted down. This is sort of practice for Heath Ledger, which has been waiting for much the same reasons and is on my plate next. If you noticed any grammar problems or words that are spelled differently in British English from American, let me know! Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:25, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Favor
Could you possibly go over and revert this edit that removed cited material? That will keep me away from one of the two articles that mostly made me take a break from crime articles. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:37, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! Just because I don't actively work on them right now, I do keep an eye on them. Almost ready to submit Kate - maybe 1/2 an hour. Wildhartlivie (talk) 04:05, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Bots
I've seen people using MiszaBot II. Thanks for checking. Wildhartlivie (talk) 13:26, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey there, could use your opinions
Hey it's been awhile, hope you are doing well. If you have time can you pop over to the Ted Bundy talk page? We are in need of outside opinions about a video clip. I don't want to say to much so you can form your own opinions if you decide to pop over. We desperately need some more opinions to break everything up, too many comments by the same people. If you go, start at 'in films' section and the 'Judges comments' which is pretty much the same as the first with a little twist of course. I hope you are ok, I haven't seen you around for awhile which is unusual as our paths do occasionally cross. :) Thanks in advance, --CrohnieGalTalk 10:00, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Killer Lynn Turner.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Killer Lynn Turner.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:22, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- It was restored to the article, the template's been removed. Skier Dude (talk) 03:09, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
