Statement of disclosure by Jacqui Durrant, aka Mollyduker.

I am a professional historian and writer. I have made contributes to Wikipedia, utilising historical work that I have on occasion but not exclusively, been paid to do. This means that the content of some (but not all) pages I have created contain text that I was initially paid to research and write, which I have subsequently modified of my own volition for the purposes of making a Wikipedia page, because I feel it is in the public interest.

The text on the page I created for Benalla Migrant Camp was derived from a public history text, commissioned by a not-for-profit community organisation. It uses a range of sources, with the intent of providing an unbiased account of that significant historic site. Some issues relating to this site (neutral point of view, question of paid contribution) were flagged by wikipedia, and I am consulting with the Australian chapter to resolve these issues.
