Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Negm (Arabic: محمد عبد الفتاح نجم) (born July 21, 1985 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia) is an Egyptian Engineer, specialized in Mechatronics and Optimization.

Birth and education

Mohamed Negm was born on July 21, 1985 in Dammam and raised in Al-Khobar, KSA. He moved to Egypt with his family in 1997 and continued his education until he received bachelor's degree from Helwan University. Mohamed then moved from Egypt to the Wales, UK to complete his MPhil at Cardiff University at the Manufacturing Engineering Centre.

Interests

Mohamed Negm has interest in both science and art. His main interest in science is focused in hardware and system integration beside his interest in AI.

Arabic Calligraphy is Mohamed's main interest in Arts.

Negm's work in Zoomorphic Calligraphy (His name in the shape of an eagle)

Research

Negm's key work has been in the field of Optimization, he studied the Metaheuristic optimization methods and made many developments to the Bees algorithm before being awarded the Master of Philosophy for his work.
