MacroView

[edit]

MacroView is a SCADA/HMI system that has a loyal client following and has been in the Australian market since the early nineties. Due to its longevity, the system is used in many industry sectors across Australia, South East Asia and USA including mining, oil & gas, pipelines, power, transport and manufacturing.

History

[edit]

Sentient Computing acquired the rights to the MacroView SCADA/HMI system for use in the coal, oil, gas, mining, prorudction and power industries in 1997.

The largest MacroView installation is at Wesfarmers CSBP with over 180,000 I/O across X sites. CSBP is the major chemicals and fertilizer manufacturer in WA and uses MacroView as a true supervisory system, sitting on top of several control systems comprising several PLCs and DCS systems.

Plant Vantage

[edit]

Plant Vantage is a Plant Data Analysis tool for Process and Maintenance Engineers. It provides personal access to plant data for analysis and gaining insight to optimise production and maintenance. PlantVantage was born from the needs of the small to mid tier industrial production companies who wanted the functionality of a historian and analysis tools. PlantVantage integrates with the existing control system for data capture and has the features you would expect in an industry standard historian and trending package. This includes user customisable trends, statistical analysis, export to MS Excel and a simple visual interface. It also has some more powerful features to make life easier for production and maintenance people

Excel Add-in

[edit]

The MacroView Excel Add-In leverages the analytical and reporting tools within Microsoft Excel to access Macroview data for production information, plant status, reporting and historical data.
