The 2014 Arkansas High School 5A Soccer Season is part of the 17th high school soccer season in the state of Arkansas. The first conference games were played on March 11, 2014, and the conference schedule will conclude on May 9, 2014. The defending State Champions are Shiloh Christian (girls) and Little Rock Christian (boys).
Teams in the 5A conferences play each other team in their conference two times per season. Each play in a home-and-home series. Matches ending in a draw after 80 minutes will go directly to a penalty shootout. The winner of the shootout is awarded a win, whereas the loser is awarded a loss. The top four teams from each conference qualify for the 5A State Tournament.
If two or more teams are equal on wins and losses at the end of conference play, the following criteria is used to determine the final standings:
1. Greater number of wins in matches between the tied teams.
2. Greater goal difference (3 goals/gm) in matches between the tied teams (if more than two teams finish equal on points).
3. Greater number of goals scored in matches among the tied teams (if more than two teams finish equal on points).
4. Greater goal difference (up to 3 goals per game) in all conference matches.
5. Greater number of goals scored in all conference matches.
6. Coin flip.
The 2014 5A State Tournament will be hosted by Harrison from May 15 to May 17. The final will be played at D.W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on May 23 or May 24. The top four teams from each conference will qualify for the State Tournament.
