I work at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute ( http://www.sanger.ac.uk ) We are the informatics group supporting some of the High Throughput Gene Targeting efforts for KOMP and EUCOMM ( http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Teams/Team87/ ). These programs create mutant ES cells in mice in a high-throughput fashion, the broad aim being: for every gene in the mouse genome, to create a mutant ES cell with that gene knocked out.
