Early Life and Education

Ramy Mohamed El-Messiery was born on 6th September 1983 in Bahiera, Egypt. Due to his father’s profession, which required frequent relocations, he grew up shifting between Ismaillia, Egypt, and Great Cairo, Egypt, but finally stayed in Great Cairo, Egypt. This exposure to diverse cultures from an early age greatly influenced his worldview and shaped his appreciation for architecture and design in different contexts.

El-Messiery comes from a family of well-educated parents, whose emphasis on learning and intellectual growth played a pivotal role in his development. Their encouragement and support fostered his early interest in Modeling and engineering.

He pursued his undergraduate studies in Architectural Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. He then earned a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, focusing on the life cycle cost analysis and value engineering in the construction industry. Continuing his academic journey, El-Messiery completed his Ph.D. in Project Management at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, where his doctoral research centered on Integrating TQM, Risk management with Value Engineering in the construction industry.

Professional Career

Ramy M. El-Messiery has built a distinguished career in the field of architectural engineering, specializing in the technicalities of construction projects, project management, building technologies, value engineering, and innovative design solutions. After completing his education, he began his professional journey with mega-scale companies, where he gained valuable experience in the construction projects technicalities and project management.

Over the years, El-Messiery has contributed significantly to the advancement of construction project documents from the conceptual stage till the issued-for-tendering stage, integrated with projects value. His work often bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and practical application, helping to transform concepts into impactful solutions for the construction industry.

Currently, El-Messiery holds the position of Lecturer, Technical Advisor, and Projects Management Consultant at two Egyptian universities and collaborates with many of the top 10 companies in the Egyptian market. His expertise has been instrumental in the successful implementation of several projects (according to his curriculum vitae), particularly in Egypt and the GCC.

In addition to his professional contributions, El-Messiery is actively involved in mentoring young professionals and researchers, sharing his knowledge and experience to shape the future of architectural engineering.
