[edit]Pionier Boys' School is situated in Dorado Park,Windhoek.[1]. The school flies both the school flag and the Namibian flag. Schools are grouped in circuits and this school belongs to circuit 4. Teachers of schools which belong to the same circuit meet on a regular basis and discuss issues of concern. [2] Pionier is one of seven special schools which cater for learners with (special needs)learning difficulties in Namibia.[3] In Windhoek there are only two schools which cater for learners with learning difficulties, namely Eros Girls school and Pionier Boys' School. The are 400 learners and 36 teachers at the school.[4] Other schools cater for specific learning difficulties such as hearing and visual impairments. [5]
