Have Baby Will Travel is an online guide to travel with babies and toddlers. The website features first-hand trip reports, destination information, useful articles, travel tips and packing lists, all geared to those traveling with babies and small children. It makes money through advertising and commissions from items purchased from the Have Baby Will Travel store.

History

Corinne McDermott wanted to take a family vacation before her first maternity leave was over. Frustrated by the scattered information on destinations, packing, flying tips, and family-specific hotel reviews, she decided to create a one-stop web brochure for busy parents with questions on traveling with baby. Her supportive husband taught himself the basics, and Have Baby Will Travel was launched from their basement in the Spring of 2007. Now a toddler itself, Have Baby Will Travel sports a brand new look but continues to assist thousands of parents from around the world research destinations, read informative articles, and peruse trip reviews submitted by other traveling families. There is also a valuable links page, where Corinne features other websites and businesses aimed at supporting families and family travel.

Have Baby Will Travel now features information and trip reports for 21 destinations around the world, and the list continues to grow. Now Have Baby Will Travel has added an online store, an interactive blog, with the latest in family travel news and hot deals, as well as a monthly newsletter to help keep all parents with wanderlust informed on the latest happenings.

Website features

Destinations: Basic information with family travel in mind, most of Have Baby Will Travel’s destination information has been provided by the country’s official tourist board.

Trip Reports: First-hand accounts of travel experiences provided by parents who’ve traveled with their young children. Have Baby Will Travel’s trip reports include hotel reviews, information on amenities for travel with baby and/or toddler, as well as useful tips specific to the destination.

Tips & Info: Packing List, Carry-On Packing List, plus useful information directed at those traveling with babies and toddlers.
