Qur'an about mountains
"Did I not spread out the earth and create the mountains as nails for balance?" (Surah Naba: 6-7)
Geologists tell us that the radius of the Earth is about 64000 km and that the solid mantle of the Earth's surface on which we live is very thin (1-30) miles in thickness. Since the solid mantle is thin, it is more likely to vibrate as the Earth rotates. And the mountains save us from this vibration. Scientists discovered in 1956 that the mountain has roots, which are about four times longer than the mountain's length, and which act as nails.
Who gave these newly discovered geologists information to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1450 years ago?
If the Qur'an is not a miracle/word of God, then how did Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) put the newly discovered information in the Qur'an 1450 years ago?
May Allah Ta'ala grant us all the ability to understand the depth of the Qur'an, Ameen.
