About Me

[edit]

I am a software developer intrigued by the possibilities made manifest by sites like Wikipedia. The amount of collected data found within the "walls" of this site astonishes me and thus I aim to improve it. For me this means the development of tools that help editors along with plans for bots that bring raw info from other online sources to articles in need of updating and flushing out.

WikiEdits

[edit]

Recently I've launched a project called WikiEdits which aims to provide editors with insights into which articles are currently undergoing major edits. This is done by compiling the recent changes feed and then posting the recently most editing article to Twitter. In time this method will need refinement, but for now it is a simple way to find new articles and review resistant changes.
