Prince George Public Library

The Prince George Public Library is located in the the city of Prince George, BC, Canada. The system has two branches, the main branch is the Bob Harkins Branch located in the downtown, with a secondary satellite branch located on the Hart Highway north of the city's downtown in the Hart Center Mall complex. The library is currently headed by Chief Librarian Janet Marren, who succeeded the previous Chief Alan Wilson.

Location

The Prince George Public Library moved into its current location on May 1st 1981.[1] At the time the address was 887 Dominion St, but has since changed to 888 Canada Games way after the stalled-out building of a hotel next door, as well as the remanding of the Civic Plaza to the 2015 Canada Winter Games Plaza

The Nechako Branch is located at 6547 Hart Highway, Prince George, BC[2] in the Hart Center Mall.

Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-9:00pm

Friday, Saturday: 10:00am-5:30pm

Sunday: 1:00pm-5:00pm[3]

Nechako Branch:

Monday: 10:00am-9:00pm

Tuesday - Thursday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Friday: 10:00am-9:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Sunday & Holidays: Closed[4]
