Connor Ratliff was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on August 27, 1975, to Bill and Gretta Ratliff. Bill Ratliff worked as a local weatherman and hosted a children's television show, and in the early 70s had worked with influential improvisational theatre legend Del Close, and Gretta was an active member of the local community theatre; both Bill and Gretta encouraged Connor to preform, and he acting in plays throughout his high school career.
