Evangelos is the name of a fictional demi-god in the play Gods Help Us. He is the main character of the story, and a son of Zeus. Having failed to complete various tasks necessary to attain his place in the Grecian God Society, Evangelos must perform community service down on Earth, specifically in an American high school. With the help of his buddy, the god Hermes, and despite the interference of his ex-girlfriend, the goddess Eris, Evangelos ultimately succeeds in adapting to his new environment and creating change for the better for his new friends.
