2006 Tri-Nations Series
In 2006, the rugby union Sanzar celebrated the 10th annual edition of the series.[1] It was believed that Jean de Villiers would be out injured for the tournament, but Bryan Habana recupearated quickly for the opening match.[4] Jake white, South Africa's head coach at the time, named four debutants to his squad for the series.[5] Prior to the start of the tournament , Jake White sparked controversy as he seeked an extension to his contract.[7]
