I'm currently a grad student in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. While I'm in the psychology department, I actually style myself as a cognitve neuroscientist, as I am far more interested in brains than in social, affective, or clinical matters.

I'm a native of Sedalia, Missouri and arrived in California by way of M.I.T. and Somerville, MA. I bear no relation to the pitcher from across the bay.
