Founded in 2008 through a collaborative effort between Thai and American partners, Guru English School in Thailand, quickly established itself as a leading institution in language education for international students of all ages. The first school was established in the northern city of Chiang Mai, setting the foundation for its subsequent expansion. In 2018, a second branch was opened in Bangkok. The faculty at Guru comprises predominantly native English speaking teachers.
