The Martialarm is a home training machine based on past training practise of the Wooden Dummy and Focus Master Training Devices.

Throughout the history and development of the martial arts and all mans combat systems our training tools have played a vital part in evolving and perfecting these systems and techniques.

All the martial arts have been effected by the role that mechanical devices play whether it be weapons, dojo mats, breaking boards or even the uniforms we wear - all these paraphanialia indentify the martial arts into their systems and style.

The martialarm simulates and reacts like a real opponent actually throwing a punch or an enemy in an aggressive guard and as you train on the martialarm it develops these attack techniques and it allows the use of full power in your strikes.

Once you come into contact with the martialarm training partner it will react - it twists and turns up, down, left and right just as a real opponent would. It has internal springs so offers realistic resistence forward and back to the center and is made of solid steel and upholstered for its superb strength.

Training on the martialarm allows repetitive practice of training techniques and attack methods. The reality is a perfect attack is the best defense!

It is unlike other training dummies: The wooden dummy has been used for centuries as a solo training tool. In recent years, they've been made available in different materials including plastic. But still they all have one thing in common:

They dont move and they're all static.

The wooden dummy is still only designed to absorb your blows and improve your form. It doesn't react to your attacks like a real partner would. So you get good repetition training, which is great for getting the basics down but deally a martial arts solo training tool should be workable for all and based on sound theory and through constant practice develop into sound physical application. The ideology and theory would have to take into account all the strike based styles and apply this to competition and street application.
