Tbourida, also known as Fantasia or the Moroccan horse parade, is a traditional equestrian performance that originated in Morocco. It is a popular and traditional display of horsemanship and skill that is often performed during cultural festivals, celebrations, and special occasions in Morocco.

Tbourida typically involves a group of horse riders dressed in traditional Moroccan attire, including colorful garments and decorative accessories. The riders, known as "Reguibat," form a straight line and charge together at full gallop while carrying muskets or rifles. As they approach a designated point, they fire their weapons simultaneously, creating a dramatic display of sight and sound.

The riders aim to synchronize their movements, creating a rhythmic sequence of firing, while maintaining control and precision. The display is accompanied by traditional music and chants, adding to the overall spectacle and excitement.

Tbourida is not only a demonstration of horsemanship but also a celebration of Moroccan history, culture, and martial traditions. It is a significant part of Moroccan heritage and continues to be cherished and performed to this day.

Tbourida is prominently dominated by man. A “bardia” refers to a female equestrian who participates in traditional Tbourida performance.
