20th Century Boys is a Japanese film series based on the manga 20th Century Boys by Naoki Urasawa and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi. The movies were released from 2008 to 2009.

The film was produced by 16 companies, led by Nippon Television Network Corporation. It commemorates the 55th anniversary of Nippon Television Network Corporation's founding. Other production companies were Cine Bazar[1] and Office Crescendo[2] . The film was distributed by Toho .

  • La película "20th Century Boys" ganó el Premio a la Contribución Especial en los "16th Bowling Mass Media Awards", que honran a celebridades y programas de televisión que han contribuido a la promoción de los bolos. Asistió la actriz Kinami Haruka . Aunque el episodio de los bolos no aparece en la película, Kinami dijo en una entrevista en "Big Comic Spirits" que sí lo grabó.   • Toshiaki Karasawa ganó la categoría de gafas de sol en la 22ª edición de los premios Japan Glasses Best Dresser Awards. Su aparición con gafas de sol en la película "20th Century Boys" fue elogiada y ganó el "Premio a la categoría de gafas de sol".[5]
