Stephen ('Stevo' or 'Steve') Cronin (born on October 8, 1996) is a notable member of the Tasmanian community and the international meme-sphere. Stephen is a prominent figure amongst his peers at the University of Tasmania where he is currently a Law/Arts student. Stephen is notable member of Jane Franklin Hall where is he highly regarded by other residents. 



Early Life

Born in Launceston, Tasmania, Cronin was grew up with his Brother Nicholas Cronin and attended Launceston Church Grammar School for the majority of his education. At age 18 Cronin left his hometown to begin a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay Campus in Hobart, Tasmania.

University Life

Unlike many students his age, Cronin has passion for leadership and politics. When Stephen began University in 2015, is was an opportunity for his passions to flourish. Stephen is a keen member of the University of Tasmania Labour Society. In 2016 Cronin took up a position at the Department of Premier and Cabinet which he continues today. Cronin is also the current Head of Drama at Jane Franklin Hall, he has been in the position since February 2017. Cronin has further proved his leadership qualities in 2017 by filling one of the positions on the Tasmania University Union Student Representative Council in the South.

Achievements


At age 20 Stephen Cronin has achieved what many of today's youth can only dream of: his own meme page. 'Stephen Cronin Memes', founded on September 15, 2016, features Cronin in customised interpretations of today's viral memes on the popular social media sight Facebook™. Since its creation the meme page has attained over 145 supporters. Also according to his Facebook™ profile Cronin was presented with an Outstanding Citizenship Award in 2008.
