I love history.

I have found antique maps to be a great way to study history and how people's view of a particular country or region change over time as seen through the evolution of maps.

What's even more amazing is that the paper used to make maps back in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries is of such high quality that those maps can be handled with ease today and are not needed to be kept in climate controlled environments.
