Daniel J. Savage is a Democratic politician and former member of the City Council of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Political Career
[edit]He was elected in a special election in 2006 representing the 7th District[1] following the Rick Mariano's conviction on corruption charges[2][3] . He lost the election the following year and again in 2011 to Maria Quiñones-Sanchez[4][5]. In 2014, he unsuccessfully[6] ran for Senate in Pennsylvania's 2nd District[7]. He works for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and is Democratic Leader of the 23rd Ward[8]
Personal Life
[edit]He was born and raised in Philadelphia[9] [10]. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Holy Family University. He has one son, Daniel Savage Jr[11].
