Article review

It has been in a while since China changed 1 child policy to 2 child policy, but still, not much people know that. So, I visited the Family planning policy page on Wikipedia, and found there are three aspects of it worth commenting on its lack of citations, its article up-to-date, and its Completeness.

Citations

I have noticed that usually many Wikipedia page has a lot of citations on the page, but I do not see much on this page, it only has 2 citations. The article could add so much more citations and reliable sources on their page, such as add the cite to 1950s "recommendation" or the one-child policy introduced between 1978 and 1980 and began to be formally phased out in 2015.

Age

As you see, this article has not updated anything reference for a while, even though there are still some people have been editing this article, but when you look at the history, you will see that there are not much different.

Completeness

This article is incompleteness because it did not have a history, the popular culture, or the different family planning regulations. when I was doing the research, I found out that in China, the different city has different family planning regulations, if you want to have a second child you have to matches the condition, and I think people should add this reference to the article.

Summary

Overall, I would say this page was not great. Because first, the page cites very few sources. Second, the information is little bit fall behind. And the last, there is not much information to read.

I am a graphic design student currently studying at Everett Community College. I was born in Guangzhou on 1995, but I moved to Seattle with my family when I was 17-year-old. As a graphic designer, I have to walk out of the door to get inspiration, but I am not a person who loves outdoor activities, the only think I like to do is travel around. Also, I like to listen to music when I was doing my homework.

I do not use Wikipedia so often, so I have no idea what I would write about if I become involved with the encyclopedia over the long term. But I do surprise that they have the view history page and the talk pages.
