Lengolo Moletsane (born 21 October 1988, Maseru, Lesotho) is a comic artist and storyboarder. He is known for theatrical concepts and black and white style thst consits of massive mark making and lines.

Life and work

He grew up in Ha Ts'osane, Maseru, but came of age in Pretoria, South Africa where he studied art at Tshwane North College before moving to Johannesburg, at the Greenside Design Center where he graduated as a multimedia designer. He currently works and lives in Gauteng.

Moletsane's work has appeared in several international exhibitions such as the 2009 Design Indaba Superstars in Capetown[2], "Works" at Watermeyer Art Centre[3]. He is the husband of musician, ms isis.

Projects

Moletsane has been involved in various projects in and outside South Africa. He introduced his style on “Firetown”[4], a comic about chaos in his land. He then went on in the art department of Ts'asa” the movie, storyboarded music vedios of some well known music artists in his era, working with director, Tebogo Malope[5]. He is also the developer of the comic strip, “Gereza.”[6] It is a violent strip based in South Africas most dangerous townships.
