                This is a story about very interesting social studies people who made Black History month its period. 

1. Frederick Douglass: Douglass fought for women's rights back in the 1800's. And was an activist for Black peoples rights.

2.Bessie Coleman: She tried to show that Black women can be a part of something big.

3.Martin Luther King Jr: He was an activist for equal rights of African Americans. He held many speeches, but his most famous was "I Have A Dream" speech. And hat one speech changed people's lives.
