Bimeda NBVC (Nutrition Biochemistry Veterinary Consultant) - is a French veterinary laboratory supported by a team of field veterinarians and consultants, who specialise in herd and equine health, and more specifically in the nutrition, biochemistry and metabolism of cattle, sheep, goats and horses.

NBVC's mission is to provide practising veterinarians and their breeders with the scientific methodology to understand and address the root-causes of common health issues ranging from reproductive issues, to calf mortality, to passive immunity transfer to young foals and much more. NBVC’s focus is on preventing the recurrence of health issues, rather than simply treating symptoms.

NBVC has a broad service offering which includes observational farm visits, telephone support and a wide range of diagnostic tests, carried out by Iodolab; NBVC’s laboratory partner in veterinary biochemistry. Iodolab, is located in the veterinary school of Lyon and performs tests for trace elements, minerals, vitamins and metabolic parameters in the biological fluids of livestock.
