Avista Time is
Avista Time is a Stockholm (Sweden) and Kiev (Ukraine) based company that assists service companies with a mobile and web based Software As A Service, (SaaS) solution. With a view to increase efficiency of companies, Avista have expanded the benefits of the industry standard “swipe card” concept used in many companies. Avista have designed a soloution that uses [[NFC]] to communicate (swipe) via a tag placed at any given location “on site”. This record from the individually designated mobile phone is sent to a server where it is stored for management access via the Internet, ie: one management location can view all contracted visits ensuring targets and service levels are met.
Avista operates in three areas: cleaning industry, domestic elderly care and security.
History
[edit]Avista Time has a vision to improve the service delivery process in similar manor as Mr Henry Ford did with the assembling line in the automotive industry in the early 20th century.
Technical Background
[edit]Avista Time filed an patent application in 2004. METHOD FOR POSITION NOTIFICATION This invention is basically a reverse GPS, which means instead of having satellites thats is sending signals to the earth and have a receiver that calculates the position Avista created the concept of mounting a physical device on a location and mark its location in a database and then when a mobile phone touch/communicate this device it will be recorded in a database as a visit by a service personell.
