Lynne Osman Elkin received her Ph.D. from U.C Berkeley in 1973. She taught at California State University , East Bay ( Hayward) for 33 years and now holds the title professor emerita of Biological Sciences. She has performed original archival and interview research about Rosalind Franklin and The Double Helix since 1997. She has written and lectured on the topic in the United States and England at Universities, professional meetings and award ceremonies for Franklin. She welcomes any dialogue about Rosalind Franklin and invitations to lecture.
