The invention of digital photography and several camera enabled devices such as digital cameras, webcam and mobile phones changed the use of photographs as more people adopted them for social use.[1]

Social network services have become integrated into the fabric of our social world in recent years. This large market could not be made possible without technological advances in mobile devices such has tablets,PC's,notebooks and smartphones. [2] These devices have become a combination of “communication-connection devices, and an audiovisual production tool” and they provide an easy and affordable way to capture and share photographs among users. Mobile devices have played a major part in the daily lives of users, the interaction and collaboration has led to building not only social relationships with one another through networks, but has help construct self-expression and self-promotion in the interim of sharing communication, data and images in real time. [3]

Sharing images via mobile phones has become popular. Several networks and applications have sprung up offering capabilities to share captured photos directly from mobile phones to social networks. The most prominent of these is Instagram, which has quickly become the dominant image sharing-centric social network with over 500 million members. [4] Other applications and networks offering similar service and growing in popularity include Streamzoo, Path, PicsArt and Starmatic.
