This template is a shorthand measure of inserting {{cite web}} links to the Laws of the Game as published on the FIFA website.

In its simplest form: {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG}} produces a link to the full PDF of the laws:

Users can link to the web-based presentation of individual laws by specifying a number between 1 and 17 as an optional parameter. For example: {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG|12}} produces:
"Law 12 - Fouls and misconduct". FIFA.com. FIFA. Retrieved 1 September 2024.

An optional second parameter can be set to interp if the user wishes to reference the relevant Interpretation of the Laws of the Game. For example {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG|12|interp}} produces:
