[edit]Advertising in Article Space
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Article have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Article. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Article Ownership
[edit]Level 1 Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Article, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at Article. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to assume ownership of articles, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you assume ownership of articles, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you assume ownership of articles again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Assume Good Faith
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Article. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much!
Level 2 Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Article. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Article. Comment on content, not on fellow editors.
Biography
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Article, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
Level 2 Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Article. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Article. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Blanking/Removal of Content
[edit]Level 1
- Removal
Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you recently removed content from Article without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
- Blanking
Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Article. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
Level 2
- Removal
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Article, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.
- Blanking
Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did at Article. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you think that the page should be deleted, please read Wikipedia:How to delete a page. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Changing pronouns of trans/non-binary BLP subjects
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you changed the personal pronouns of an individual in the article Article. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not change the personal pronouns of individuals in articles, as you did to Article. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted; repeatedly adding incorrect pronouns may result in a loss of editing privileges. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to introduce incorrect pronouns into an article, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Color Compliance
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Article, contributed colours which may cause accessibility problems for users with certain types of visual disabilities. We aim to use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines on this subject, which can be found at WP:COLOR; this page provides further information about contributing AAA-compliant colours to this encyclopedia. For information specific to templates used in articles about television, please also see Template talk:Infobox television season/Archive 3. If you only meant to experiment, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from making edits that contribute colours which may cause accessibility problems for readers with certain types of visual disabilities, as you did at Article. We aim to use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility, so your edits have been or will be reverted or removed. You can find information about this at WP:COLOR, which provides further information about contributing AAA-compliant colours to this encyclopedia. For information specific to templates used in articles about television, please also see Template talk:Infobox television season/Archive 3. Please do not continue to make edits that contribute non-compliant colours. Continuing could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop your disruptive editing. Your recent edits, such as those to Article, contribute colours which may cause accessibility problems for users with certain types of visual disabilities. These edits have been or will be reverted. Further information is available at WP:COLOR and, for templates used in articles about television, Template talk:Infobox television season/Archive 3. We aim to use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility. If you continue to make edits that contribute non-compliant colours, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you contribute colours which may cause accessibility problems for users with certain types of visual disabilities, as you did at Article; please use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility.
Conversation in Article Talk Space
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Article are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks.
Level 2 Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Article for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use talk pages for inappropriate discussions, as you did at Talk:Article.
Creation of Unacceptable Articles
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Article, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Article, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you create an inappropriate page, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Defamation
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I wanted to let you know that some of your recent contributions to Article have been reverted or removed because they seem to be defamatory or libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Article, especially if it involves living persons. Your edits have been reverted. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you add defamatory content to Wikipedia again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Disrupting the Taxonomy Templates
[edit]Level 1 Hello. While we appreciate your attempts to help keep scientific classifications on Wikipedia thorough and up-to-date, your recent edit to the code at Article doesn't fit the format required for the taxonomy templates to function properly, and it has been reverted or removed. Please have a look at the automatic taxobox documentation where you can find answers to frequently-asked questions as well as guidelines for tweaking the taxonomy templates. If you need further assistance, consider asking for assistance. If you wish to make test edits, please do them in the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 2 Your recent edit to the code at Article does not match the format required for the taxonomy system on Wikipedia to function properly and effectively. It is considered disruptive editing. Before making any further edits to the taxonomy templates, it is advised that you review the automatic taxobox documentation, and if you need assistance, you can try asking at the automatic taxobox talk page. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to abuse taxonomy templates, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Disruptive Editing
[edit]Level 1 Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Article, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Article. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Editing of Others' Talk Page Contributions Without Due Cause
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Article, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Article. Such edits are disruptive, and may appear to other editors to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or change other editors' legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you remove or change other editors' legitimate talk page comments again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
External Links Spam
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Article have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Article. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Article. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
Euphemisms in Article
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively, please note that we do not use euphemisms (such as passed away in place of died) in Wikipedia articles. This is part of the Manual of Style, and should be followed to maintain a neutral point of view and consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style by adding euphemisms, as you did in Article, disturbs uniformity among articles. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not use euphemisms on Wikipedia articles, as you did in Article. It is contrary to the Manual of style and the Neutral point of view policy. Thank you.
Frequent Changes to Genres Without Consensus or Reference
[edit]Level 1 Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Article, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Article, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Article.
Fringe or Undue Weight in Articles
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to Article appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Article. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Please use the article's talk page to discuss the material and its appropriate weight within the article. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Article, you may be blocked from editing. Articles on Wikipedia do not give fringe material equal weight to majority viewpoints; content in articles are given representation in proportion to their prominence.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Harassment
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to Article. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you.
Level 2 Please be careful about what you say to people. Some remarks, such as your addition to Article can easily be misinterpreted, or viewed as harassment. Wikipedia is a supportive environment, where contributors should feel comfortable and safe while editing. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop your disruptive editing. Wikipedia aims to provide a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on Article, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue to harass other editors, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass other editors, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you purposefully and blatantly harass fellow Wikipedian(s) again, as you did at Aricle, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Images
[edit]Level 1 Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your image was inserted successfully on the page Article, but because it appeared to be irrelevant to the article or violated the image use policy, it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add inappropriate images to Wikipedia, as you did to Article; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate images, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. Images used only for vandalism may be added to the bad image list to prevent them from being displayed.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add an inappropriate image, as you did at Article. Such images may be added to the bad image list if used persistently for vandalism.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you add an inappropriate image to Wikipedia again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Improper Use of Warning or Blocking Template
[edit]Level 1 Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to Article has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from abusing warning or blocking templates, as you did to Article. Doing so is a violation of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia.
Inappropriate Expansion of Plot Summaries
[edit]Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you continue to make changes that conflict with the plot summary edit guides, as you did at Article.
Incorrect Information
[edit]Level 1 Hello! I'm LoveHop123. Your recent edit(s) to the page Article appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Article. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Article.
Jokes
[edit]Level 1 Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Article. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write.
Level 2 Thank you for your contributions to Article, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox instead. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to introduce jokes into articles, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you introduce jokes into articles, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you introduce jokes into articles again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
LLM misuse
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. An edit that you recently made to Article seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is almost always unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and your edit has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
Level 2 Please refrain from making edits generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such a technology) in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Article, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to make non-constructive edits to Wikipedia using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such a technology), as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Manual of Style
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Article, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Article. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Article.
Misleading Edit Summaries
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Article in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
Level 2 Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Wikipedia pages, as you did to Article. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to use edit summaries that are misleading, intentionally or not, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Moves
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Article, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Article. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page disruptively, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you move a page disruptively again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Neutral Point of View
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Article seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Article. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Article.
Not Censored
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you removed topically relevant content from Article. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Article. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to censor or remove encyclopedic content based on the fact that it is offensive to some readers, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia is not censored, and attempts to censor encyclopedic content will be regarded as vandalism.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Original Research
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Article, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Article. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Article.
Paid Editing Without Disclosure
[edit]Level 1
Hello LoveHop123. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Article, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:LoveHop123. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LoveHop123|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message.
Level 2
As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Article, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:LoveHop123, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LoveHop123|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia.
Level 3
You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4
You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing.
Level 4im
This is your only warning; you may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing.
Personal Attacks
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Article that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Article. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Article. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Article. Comment on content, not on fellow editors.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.

[edit]Level 1
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content which constitutes vandalism or that is deemed libelous or defamatory to a sandbox, as you did to Wikipedia:Sandbox is not consistent with our sandbox policy. Subtle Vandalism
[edit]Level 1 Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page Article, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. Talking in Articles
[edit]Level 1 Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add commentary to articles, as you did at Article. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to discuss the article, please use Talk:Article. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add commentary to articles, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.

Level 3 Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Article. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Triggering an Edit Filter by Attempting to Vandalize
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Article have been disallowed by an edit filter as they did not appear constructive. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. If you believe the edit filter disallowance was a false positive, please report it here. Feel free to ask for assistance at the Teahouse whenever you like. Thank you.
Level 2 Please refrain from attempting to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you were at Article. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been disallowed by an edit filter. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeatedly attempting to perform disruptive actions may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.

Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you attempt to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Level 4im This is your only warning; if you attempt to make unconstructive edits and trigger the edit filter again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Unsourced
[edit]Level 1 Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Level 2 Please do not add or change content, as you did at Article, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.
Level 3 Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Article.
Updating Access Date
[edit]Level 1
Hello, I'm LoveHop123. I noticed that you made one or more edits to an article, concerning the updates of review statistics, box office numbers, sports statistics, or some other frequently updated data with a fixed web address, but you did not update the |access-date=
parameter in the citation template. The |access-date=
parameter is the full date when the content pointed to by the URL was last verified to be working and supporting the text being cited in the article. This means that the parameter needs to be updated whenever the content is updated. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Uploading Files Missing Copyright Status
[edit]Level 1 Welcome to Wikipedia. Level 4 You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you upload a media file with false or missing copyright or source information, as you did at Article.

Single Issue Warnings
[edit]Edit War
[edit]Level 1
Hi LoveHop123! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Article, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you.
Level 2 Hello. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Article. Please be aware that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reverts on a single page within a 24 hour period. Rather than reverting edits, please consider using the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. The dispute resolution processes may also help. Excessive reverting may result in the loss of editing privileges.
Level 3 You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Article. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Level 4
- One-Revert Rule
Your recent editing history at Article shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in being blocked from editing—especially as the page in question is currently under restrictions from the Arbitration Committee, if you violate the one-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than one revert on a single page with active Arbitration Committee restrictions within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the one-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the one-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
- Three-Revert Rule
Your recent editing history at Article shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Article, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead.
New Copyright Hello LoveHop123! Your additions to Article have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Removing Copyright Notices Please do not remove the {{copyvio/core}} template from articles, as you did with Article. Your action has been reverted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept non-free text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted, and removing copyright notices will not help your case. You can properly contest the deletion at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. If you are the owner of the material, you may release the material under the Creative Commons and GFDL licenses, as detailed at WP:IOWN. Alternatively, you are welcome to create a draft in your own words at Talk:Article/Temp. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators and/or removers of the copyright notice templates will be blocked from editing.
Derogatory
[edit]Do not add slurs, images, symbols, or other content meant to attack, harass, threaten, or disparage certain people or groups based on nationality, race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other factors. Such content is not tolerated by Wikipedia and as such may be hidden from public view at any time by an administrator (or in extreme cases, suppressed). Articles or files of which the only purpose is to attack, harass, threaten or disparage certain people or groups are speedily deleted. If you add hateful, derogatory, or bigoted content again, as you did at Article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Hijacking
[edit]Please refrain from hijacking pages as you did with Article. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you.
Hoax
[edit]Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Article. If you are interested to know how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements already in Wikipedia – and, if possible, correct them. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with sanctions, which could include a block from editing. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you.
Multiple IPs
[edit]Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia, like you did at Article. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
Personal Info
[edit]Do not add personal information about other contributors to Wikipedia without their explicit permission, as you did at Article. Wikipedia operates on the principle that every contributor has the right to remain completely anonymous. Posting personal information about another user is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's harassment policy. Wikipedia's policy on this issue is strictly enforced and your edits have been reverted and/or suppressed, not least because such information can appear on web searches. Wikipedia's privacy policy is to protect the privacy of every user, including you. Persistently adding personal information about other contributors will result in being blocked from editing.
Removing Useful Links
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove useful links from an article, as you did in the article Article. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Social Network
[edit]Please do not continue to use Wikipedia as a social network, as you apparently did at Article. You have been warned already about using talk pages and/or help resources for general discussion, and if you continue to do so without making any significant contributions to the encyclopedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
Sockpuppetry
[edit]Level 1
You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SP. subpage
Level 2 It has been found that you have been using one or more accounts abusively or have edited logged out to avoid scrutiny. Please review the policy on acceptable alternate accounts. In short, alternate accounts should not be used for the purposes of deceiving others into seeing more support for your position. It is not acceptable to use two accounts on the same article, or the same topic area, unless they are publicly and plainly disclosed on both your and the other account's userpage.
Your other account(s) have been blocked indefinitely. This is your only warning. If you repeat this behaviour you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Thank you.
