He decided to audition for BigHit after his dance teacher suggested that he should audition for an entertainment company and after being accepted, he transferred to Korea Arts High School which is located in Seoul and graduated alongside his fellow BTS member Taehyung ,who was his best friend from then on in 2013.
Music career
[edit]In The 8th Grade Jimin started to do popping dances. After he watched Rain’s performances, he became interested in becoming a performer. He told his parents about it, and they happily approved of it. He was recruited by Bighit Entertainment ,A entertainment company in Seoul, from his hometown Busan to be part of Big Hit's "Hit It" auditions in 2010 and 2011 to be a part of the group known as BTS.
In 2016 Jimin delivered his solo song first solo song "Lie,"which he co-wrote and is part of their album Wings and it has seemingly become a fan favorite as it cilmbed up the iTunes chart upon release. Jimin just lets his vocal prowess explode over the dramatic production that moves from cinematic violins to the booming pop beats.
Jimin took things to a whole other level with his expressive delivery of the song in his dramatic choreography, telling a message with his body as much as he does with his vocals. On BTS Festa week in 2017 Jimin & Jungkook released a Part 2 cover version of the song "We Don't Talk Anymore" which is originally sung by Charlie Puth, it's the first offical song where Jimin sings english for the first time.
