MINA MILETIC

Mina Miletic (born May 22, 1976) is a British pianist, born in Belgrade, Serbia. At the age of 16 she was offered a full scholarship to study piano at Belgrade University. In 2000 Mina Miletic moved to London to continue her education at the Royal Academy of Music where she was awarded E Power Biggs bursary. Prize winner of many awards Mina Miletic established her career regularly appearing throughout Europe both as a soloist and as a member of various chamber groups. She performed at the 30th Belgrade Music Festival (BEMUS), ex-Yugoslavia’s most prestigious festival. Her international engagements have included concerts in Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Kuwait, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA.

Mina Miletic regularly performs with the Bulgarian violinist Dimitar Burov. Recently they have released two CD featuring works by Beethoven, Grieg, Debussy and Shostakovich. For five years (2004-2009) Mina Miletic was the Honorary Secretary of the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe [1] and is still active as a contributor and reviewer for the ‘Arietta’ Journal.

In February 2009 Mina was named Belgrade Ambassador of Ecology and in July 2009 was voted in the Top 10 Most Successful Young Serbs in the World.
