I've added myself because I think the issue of housing is terribly underrepresented in general on ENwiki. RE the theme of "history of land ownership and tenant advocacy" I'm probably most interested in looking at this through the lens of squatting and occupation, which takes me more towards the land ownership side of things, even though housing rights more broadly construed are my bag. I'm based in Europe and would be happy to improve articles on ownership primarily for individual countries such as Italy, the Netherlands and Scotland. I'd also love to correct the systemic bias of ENwiki and to focus on under-represented countries, for example Mailo is a type of tenure seemingly unique to Uganda and I expanded that entry a while back. Happy to chat further although my wikitime is quite limited this year and prob won't change until September. Cheers, Mujinga (talk) 20:13, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

Pinging Mujinga LoomCreek Your Friendly Neighborhood Sociologist, I hope you are all doing well. I think WikiProject taskforce infrastructure is generally ill-suited, and I would recommend to find an existing WikiProject and simply notify the others of the active initiative, wherever discussions take place. I can imagine WikiProject Socialism, Anarchism or Organized Labour all being such homes. I've created Deutsche Wohnen & Co. enteignen and reviewed Mujinga's series of articles on squatting. I was looking at Category:Housing rights organizations which lists Human Rights as its main WikiProject. So, we identified a nice gap of knowledge that is nearly relevant to every human around the globe! I would be happy to contribute and be a team-player if there's an identified area to work on! Bonus for turning this into an edit-a-thon where we can also invite newer editors to get involved. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 21:42, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
