Disc golf was first invented in the early 1900s. The first game was held in Bladworth, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1926.

BASIC RULES

Teeing off- While starting at each whole, you are required to stand in what is known as the Tee box. Tee boxes are for the most part made of concrete and there are no standards to the construction. One foot is required to be touching the concrete box upon releasing the frisbee.

Establishing Position- The position of the disc after landing.

Holing Out- There are two different types of targets, object target and basket target. Once the disc contacts the designated target area, consider the target object holed out. Upon holing out a basket target, the disk must come to a stop on the bottom cylinder basket or inside the chains. A disk on top of the basket or wedged inside the chains is considered a foul.

Out of Bounds- The disc is out of bounds when it has surpassed the designated out lines. A player whose disc is concluded to be out of bounds is given one penalty throw. The player may choose to throw from the previous lie, otherwise a lie that is up to one meter and perpendicular to the spot where the disc crossed the out of bounds line.

Discs used in play- It is considered illegal to use a modified disc that does not follow PDGA Technical Standards. Any disc with a crack or a break, is evidentally considered a modified disc. A player who decides to use an illegal disc is given two penalty throws.

Order of Play- The order is determined by players scorecard as a whole. The first to play is the player with the lowest score at the moment, and moving up to the player with the highest score. If there is a clear tie, then it is left to the players who tied to sort it out. Once all the players have holed out, you start to move to the next round.

I plan to help the article "Disc Golf" a.k.a, Frisbee Golf reflect better on Wikipedia. I will talk about why people can enjoy disc golf. Furthermore, I will talk about the benefit of playing and how you may feel good while playing it. I also have access to articles that explain why disc golf is a good team building game, so I will incorporate that.

The sport is obviously done in nature. So without meaning to, you begin to appreciate nature and what it has to offer. The game teaches you skills, such as taking time to be strategic and be patient. Another skill that this game helps build is confidence. As you increasingly become better, you begin to feel like you complete similar challenges to scoring a goal in disc golf.

Disc Golf is a fun and laid back sport. It is usually played in PE, or required by physical education in schools. There are over 2,500 Disc Golf courses in America, as of 2017. Since 1976, there have been on average 24,000 members of the Professional Disc Golf Association. If you are a pro player, you are bound to compete in over 390 sanctioned tournaments and World Championship yearly. Equipment Disc Golf requires multiple regions of equipment. Such as, basket parts, baskets, chain, chain holders, poles, anchors, locking collars, tee signs, and number plates. The basket number both points you in direction of where you are meant to throw and to which number follows. The blades are there to create even more visibility and make the baskets they are attached to, theft-resistant. The flags offer the players knowledge of wind speed and the direction. Tee signs are designed to map out the hole. Tee signs illustrate crucial information such as, distance, par, the preferred flight path, par, hazards, and out of bounds. Many include a Dis Golf Rack, that is if they are designed to display an assortment.
