Women's Caucus

Women's Caucus of the National Communication Association[1] acknowledges and analyzes the differing experiences of women in personal, professional,[2] and academic [3]worlds.The concept relates to the feminist theory of communication[4]. The Women's Caucus also gives awards from the NCA's Interest Group to its members.

Dr. Adam Sharples Brooks is the Director of the Speaking Studio at the University of Alabama.[1] He has a Masters in Communication Studies and a Ph.D in Communication and Information Sciences, is a published author, researches public speaking, communication, and rhetoric, and serves as a faculty advisor in addition to his work at the Speaking Studio.[2]
