Along with celebrities, the safety of COVID-19 vaccines have been endorsed by British Health Secretary Matt Hancock, for instance, who did so to overcome what he called "a worldwide pandemic of misinformation," which he was worried was threatening the vaccination campaign.[1] Hancock suggested using "trusted voices" to assist in that effort, such as noting people like David Attenborough and Queen Elizabeth II had received shots and delivered a message to the public to do the same.[1]
