COLIN W. BURNS (born in 1944) is a contemporary British artist. He was born in Norfolk. Burns has produced a series of landscape, sporting art and natural history paintings.
Burns demonstrated strong artistic talent in his early years, started painting and sketching landscapes and the sunset from the age of seven. At 16 years old he left school and qualified as an accountant, but he was always painting and sketching many English and Scottish scenes. He became live entirely off art since 1977 when his works were first time exhibited in the West End of London. Over the past thirty years, his works have been highly recognized. He has held seven solo exhibitions in the United Kingdom and majority of his works have been represented in many important private collections and auctions, both in Europe and America
