Hi, my user name is Laurenwp , a shortened version of my name, Lauren Wilcox-Patterson. I go by Lauren Wilcox professionally.

I joined Wikipedia on 2 July 2020. I currently live in San Jose, California, situated in the larger San Francisco Bay Area of the USA.

I am currently on leave from Georgia Institute of Technology School of Interactive Computing in Atlanta, where I hold an Associate professor position [1] During my leave, I am working at Google.[2]

My Wikipedia interest is in the Human–computer interaction and Health informatics disciplines, and past and present contributions to these disciplines, as well as Human-centered design of technology.
