Professor Mari Lloyd-Williams is a Professor of palliative medicine in the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. ^[1]

She trained at Leicester Medical School.

Since 2001 she has been an Advisory Editorial Board Member for the European Journal of Cancer. ^[2] She is the UK editor of the US based Textbook of Palliative Medicine - a multi national textbook first published in 2007.

She has served as a member of the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales. She was elected as a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales in 2011. ^[3]
