Laura Terry is a contemporary painter, working predominantly in oils, living and working as a full time artist in Trewarmett, near Tintagel in Cornwall UK.

Born and raised in Hong Kong to an English mother and Portuguese father, she worked as a makeup artist for the fashion, music and advertising industries for many years in Hong Kong and then London before changing careers when her children were young. She has a degree in Fine Art painting from the University of Kent as well as a PGCE in art and design. Terry worked as an art teacher, later becoming Head of Art before moving to Cornwall to focus on painting full time
