Christopher A. Jenner is a British doctor specializing in pain medicine and anaesthesia. He has conducted research in the fields of pain management, acupuncture and anaesthesia and authored three books on neck and back pain, arthritis and fibromyalgia and related topics. He is the medical director of the London Pain Clinic and Spinal Healthcare.
Education
[edit]Jenner began his studies at the London Hospital Medical College in 1989 and graduated in 1995 with an MB BS degree from the University of London.
Jenner was the specialist registrar for the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care department at the Imperial School of Anaesthesia between 1999 and 2004. During this time he worked at St. Marys Hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital, the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St. Alban's Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and the Central Middlesex Hospital.[1] Between August and December of 2004, Jenner received post graduate training as a Locum Consultant at St. Marys Hospital, London.[2]
In 2011 he became a fellow (FRCA) of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.[3] Jenner completed a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. [4]

[edit]Jenner is a Consultant in Pain Medicine at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust, based at ppSt. Marys Hospital]], Paddington, London and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at [[]]Imperial College, London. He is the Medical Director of the London Pain Clinic and Spinal Healthcare; two private medical practices associated with Harley Street and the Wellington Hospital in London. [6] [5][6] He is a consultant for St Mary's Hospital and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Imperial College.
Jenner holds a membership in the The British Pain Society, Royal College of Anaesthetists, British Medical Association, General Medical Council and Medical Defence Union. [7]

Personal life
[edit]In 1991, Jenner traveled overland through 21 African countries and completed a trip around the world in 1997. His hobbies include scuba diving, open water diving, photography and mountain biking. He lives in West London with his wife and two children. [11]
