Peer review: Hello! I enjoyed reading the content of the article. You have provided detailed explanations and credible sources. One minor edit would be to elaborate on the new research that shows coenzyme can be synthesized via alternate routes. When I was reading it, I was curious about the research like where it was conducted, who, what institution etc. Overall the article is intact and gives a clear understanding of Coenzyme A. Good job!!

-One idea for an image would be for the biosynthesis section, because the steps can be a bit complex when reading them. Even just an image that has arrows with the names of the different structures (without the actual structures themselves), showing where ATP is added might be really helpful!

Biosynthesis section: 

-“In some plants and bacteria, including Escherichia coli, pantothenate can be synthesized de novo and is therefore not considered essential.”I think there needs to be another sentence before this one saying that pantothenate is considered essential in humans/most living organisms. Also, it should be separated from the sentence before it to make it more clear that that sentence is explaining the abbreviations in the list. 

-In last paragraph: “Acyl carrier proteins (ACP), such as ACP synthase and ACP degradation, are also used to produce 4′-phosphopantetheine” I’m confused by this sentence. It might be missing a comma. 

Discovery of structure section: 

-Looks good, and has a good number of citations

Function section: 

-Sometimes coenzyme A is capitalized and sometimes it isn’t—I’m not sure which is correct, but it seems easier to understand when it is capitalized

-Some more citations might be helpful in this section. You might be just putting the citations at the end of the paragraph, but at least for the “fatty acid synthesis” subsection maybe clarify which parts came from source 9 vs source 10

-Your energy production summary is really great! I think it’s super clear and concise.
