I welcome feedback. :)

TODO

[edit]
  • Fix https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Broken_code&redirect=no to be about the book by Jeff Horowitz, which seems to meet WP:GNG pretty easily https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/712678/broken-code-by-jeff-horwitz/
  • Create Henhouse Brewing Company, starting with User:Krinndnz/Henhouse Brewing Company and eventually copying or moving to mainspace. Have many links with potential to establish notability, need to winnow them down and figure out an actual argument for notability, as well as, of course, writing the actual prose of the article.
    • Add Henhouse to California_breweries#Sonoma_County independently of whether the brewery meets WP:N for standalone notability. Redlinking would be optimistic, might do it anyhow.
  • Improve Isaac Asimov's Robots in Time — add one or two book cover images, add release dates, maybe link to a review.
  • Improve William F. Wu — needs better copywriting, probably should break it out into sections, also bibliography definitely needs expanding.
  • Improve references in Maximilian I of Mexico — fix tagging and metadata of refs, no content changes. Probably check on talk page first, though, might be a reason the refs/cites are weird for this one.
  • Clean up references in Petaluma, California, as above
  • Clean up references in Guernica (Picasso), as above
  • Make sure everything in the Holmes short story category has short descriptions (plus the novels)
  • Copy-edit and polish Richard J. Maybury — needs some reorganizing and streamlining as well as basic copywriting improvements.
  • Fix citations in Evidentiality to fix unclear-cites template message
  • Go through [1] and see if any of those pages could benefit from having redirects to the canonical page from a lacking-trailing-full-stop URL. Twitter, among other places, uses URL parsing practices that incorrectly handle URLs ending in a literal . character, so popular pages whose canonical titles end with a period should probably have redirects from the non-period version. Example: if you put https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Rumblefish_Inc. in the text of a tweet, Twitter will create a link to Rumblefish Inc with no trailing full stop. This is a fairly common URL parsing decision when the URLs are found in blocks of unformatted or loosely-formatted human-generated prose, it's not a terrible heuristic.
  • Get in touch with CFB and see if they can provide a free-licensed picture of Luis Scott-Vargas to replace the very unflattering decade-old image of him in his article
  • Clean up references in Elvis Presley, as above
  • Fix multiple issues in Pitch Black Afro — clean up discography, find more references for his trial/imprisonment, connect him somehow to larger SA music scene

Date Article Task Notes
2020-07-26 Jennifer Government Copy to User:Krinndnz/Jennifer Government, re-write, copy back to mainspace. others may find, suggest, or implement improvements on my rewrite; I'm done for now
2020-08-08 Hathaway Dinwiddie Create article since there are several references/redlinks elsewhere. Architecture firm with several major towers to their name hopefully is notable? did some searching, don't think the company rises to the WP:GNG standards, not motivated to make a case for it
2020-08-08 Samwise Didier Improve article, try to rescue it from AfD peril. improved the article tremendously, left breadcrumbs for future improvement on its talk page
2020-08-08 David Icke Clean up references — criminy, what a mess. got almost everything into proper {{cite whatever}} tags, more work could be done but spending a lot of time thinking about David Icke is bad for my mental health
2020-08-10 Money Plane Add Production section got the basics covered, had to use social media for reference: not thrilled about that, but it did let me put a coherent narrative together
