User:Kohlrabi Pickle/Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Wikipedia)
Since I began working on Singapore-related articles on Wikipedia, I've encountered a small community of dedicated and industrious editors, whose effort keeps the Wikipedia collection of knowledge on Singapore alive. These editors work silently but diligently, often over many years, and don't hear often enough how important and valued its contributions are. On 17 March 2021, I created this mini-award, the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Wikipedia). Like the Pingat Jasa Gemilang, it recognises service of conspicuous merit characterised by resource and devotion to duty, including long service marked by exceptional ability, merit and exemplary conduct. I strive to award it at least once a month, and where suitable, more frequently.
