Kate McCandless is a current student in the MLIS program at Western University. She has previously completed a BA in Music and English Language and Literature in 2018 at the same institution. She is involved in the student council, the Society of Graduate Students and a student consultant group regarding the Weldon library renovations. Kate is passionate about information and digital literacy and hopes to pursue a career in a role devoted to student success.

Kate enjoys video games, long walks and volunteering with isolated and elderly populations within the London area.
