Barbara Anderson

Barbara Anderson is a costume designer and Professor Emerita in the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University where she teaches courses in costume design, construction and history. [1]

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University and a Master of Fine Arts in costume design from the School of Drama at Yale University.[2]

Her husband was Cletus Anderson was also a professor in the School of Drama until his death in 2006. Anderson, along with her husband Cletus, published Costume Design in 1984.[3]

Anderson is best known for her work as a costume designer for filmmaker George A. Romero.[4]
